Open Art Studios Totnes & Dartington

Thirty three different artists and makers will be opening their studios this year as part of the Totnes & Dartington ‘Open Studios’ platform. It’s a really intimate way to view their work. Visit the Open Studios website for an interactive studio map.

The Angel

Another highly recommended source of weekend sustenance, with The Angel offering a Spanish inspired feast over the Sea Change weekend and the much-loved (and lethal) Angle Cocktail bar. A really lush space on South St, just off the high street by the clock tower.

The Mansion

A former grammar school and now home to the town library alongside various community enterprises, the walled, off-road courtyard space at the Mansion (access through the building or via the side alleyway) will be an excellent drop in for sustenance, with the much loved Pizza Pirates, the Edgy Veggie Kitchen and more serving food and drinks all weekend.

Inside the building as part of Totnes Climate Hub, there will also be an exclusive preview of a new project called 'Field Recordings from the Future'. Mr Kit (who played for us back in August 2021) and Rob Hopkins (Transition movement co-founder), take you on a soundscape journey in their Time Machine to a 2030 that resulted from our doing all that was possible to create a fairer, more equal and beautiful low carbon society. Immerse yourself in the future we long for, visit bicycle rush hours, rewilding beavers and much more, woven through Kit's extraordinary ambient soundscapes and allow them to nurture your nostalgia for the future.

Tamarind Tree

We’ve been long-time fans of the Tamarind Tree’s take-away unit and were absolutely thrilled when they opened a new restaurant offer at 87 High Street. They’ll be running special menus and extended hours across the weekend, we highly recommend booking in.

Totnes Brewing Co.

The Barrel House Ballroom sits on top of one of the town's most vibrant pubs, the Totnes Brewing Co. They will be serving a wide range of beers (including Sea Change x Verdant) all weekend long and have even put together a full schedule of guest DJs on lazy Sunday in their bar garden… Which includes a Caste How many beer gardens include a castle?
