Social Fabric at Sea Change

Social Fabric is a contemporary craft shop that regularly runs workshops and courses teaching people new skills and brushing up on long-forgotten ones. They give a modern edge to traditional crafts and during the Sea Change weekend they have their own schedule of event to get involved in.

Friday
Radical Cross Stitching - express yourself in cross stitch. Make a statement, send a message - talk politics and craft while you stitch. A fun way to learn to stitch - no kitch flowers or kittens to be seen.
11am – 4pm
£10 including materials and refreshments

Saturday
Make a lampshade - Make a professional standard drum lampshade to fit a lamp base or pendant light fitting. You can store it here until Sea Change is over and pick it up to take home - we know it's hard to keep a lampshade in a tent.
10.30am-1pm
£35.

Saturday afternoon
Knit and natter session. Bring your knitting or crochet, rest your legs and have a chat. Very mellow and relaxed. 2-5pm
£1.50 for tea and biccie.
