We're delighted to finally announce that Sea Change will return in 2019, running on an all new weekend with more days and more spaces. Following three years of making the August Bank Holiday come to life in Totnes, we have made the decision to bring the whole event forward in the calendar. The festival season in 2019 starts with Sea Change on Friday 24th, Saturday 25th and now Sunday 26th May. Still based in Totnes and Dartington, still based on a Bank Holiday but now earlier in the year and with extra programming and some very exciting new spaces.
This summer, saw Sea Change grow in size and extend from its heartland Totnes venues into the neighbouring 14th century Dartington Hall estate. Magical night-time sets by the likes of Hookworms, Andrew Weatherall and an extraordinary collaboration between Can’s Damo Suzuki and Bo Ningen brought a new dimension and a new set of highlights to the festival. We can't wait to tell you more, but it feels like we've only just scratched the surface of what is available to us... new spaces, new faces.
+ Limited Earlybird tickets will go on sale later this month, we will be sure to shout all about it.
Below is a little reminder of how it all went down back in August.
It is worth us noting that we know loads of you have either booked or planned or reserved accommodation speculatively for 2019 in August. We're really sorry we couldn't announce the dates any sooner, we know that you can understand it's a complicated process and sorry to have caused you inconvenience. We feel such amazing support, we love that you're all as excited as us about it... honestly, it's amazing.
